We're here! What a cloudy and foggy drive. It's very humid, who knew there could be 99% humidity without having it actual rain!
Lonnie, Bonnie (my mom) and I took Deni and Ros (Lonnie's family who we stayed with) out for lunch. We then played tourist in the French Quarter. Sampling fresh pralines was the best!
On the road again, one last time, almost to our final destination. We arrived at Camp Victor at 4:00pm. It was great to see the whole team, we're all together, WE MADE IT!
After a brief team leader meeting where I met the other Thrivent Builds team leader, Terry Click, we listened to a short intro. on Camp Victor. It was great to be together for our first official team meeting. "Welcome to Mississippi!" A few people ran to WalMart in the thunder-storm and now we're at lights out and about to go to bed.
Additional adventures to come tomorrow. If we're to build, then let it be.
