We're there dude!

After a final stop at Johnny's Po Boys for lunch, we left NOLA this morning. Swung through Waveland MS and found Bobbie and Ron's (my buddy Doug's parents) old neighborhood. Amazing that 4 years later it is still basically a ghost town. Must be hundreds of houses just gone? Whole roads are gone. The roads that are left are pretty rough. Looks like a few very wealthy folks rebuilt new homes on stilts but for the most part it is uninhabited. Hoping that we will be able to build tomorrow but if not I am already compiling a to do list for Camp Victor. We have a leaky roof, need some hooks in the shower room for towels, etc. When life gives you lemons....
